Welcome back to Term 3!
I hope you had a restful and healthy holiday : )
A few things to note:
- We have just started a Maori unit which will run for weeks 1 & 2 and corresponds to next week being Maori Language Week. Feel free to ask your children to share their learning with you.
- Choosing kind was the focus of today's Values Assembly and the children each have written a personal promise about choosing kind. If these related to choosing kind at home they have been sent home in your child's reading folder. Please encourage them to keep their promises.
- Finally, the children are very lucky to now be using a newly renovated toilet block. It has lovely warm water which no doubt will make winter hand-washing more pleasant. This is all thanks to our wonderful PTA, a big thank you to them!
